In-Person Notary Services
Dan performs traditional, in-person notarial acts authorized for a commissioned Colorado notary. The document, receiving agency, attorney, or other responsible party must identify the type of notarial act required. A notary cannot choose a certificate or provide legal advice.
Acknowledgments
The signer confirms that a signature on the document is genuine and was made willingly for the stated purpose.
Verifications on Oath or Affirmation (Jurats)
The signer signs in the notary’s presence and swears or affirms that the statements in the document are true.
Oaths and Affirmations
Administration of an oral oath or affirmation when a lawful form or proceeding requires one.
Witnessing or Attesting a Signature
The signer signs the document in the notary’s physical presence and the notary completes the appropriate certificate.
Copy Certifications, When Permitted
Certification of certain document copies when Colorado law allows the notary to perform the copy certification.
Meeting Locations
Homes, offices, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, assisted living communities, hospice settings, law offices, businesses, title or real estate offices, libraries, coffee shops, correctional facilities with advance approval, and other mutually agreed locations.

Whether a particular document requires notarization, witnesses, or a specific certificate is determined by the document and the receiving party — not by the notary. Examples include:

Simple, Itemized Pricing
The total appointment price is the notarial fee plus the applicable travel fee and any scheduling, parking, toll, waiting, facility-entry, or other charges disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.

- Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. After-hours means before 8:00 a.m., after 6:00 p.m., or any weekend appointment. Weekend appointments are available by request with the after-hours fee.
- Same-day and rush fees are not charged together — rush replaces same-day when the appointment is requested within 2 hours.
- Travel, after-hours, holiday, parking, tolls, waiting time, and other disclosed charges may be added when applicable.
- All fees are disclosed and approved before the appointment is confirmed, and provided in an itemized written receipt or invoice.
- A notarial fee is charged only for a completed notarial act. Disclosed travel or scheduling charges may still be due if the appointment cannot be completed for reasons outside the notary’s control.
- Payment accepted by major credit/debit card through Square or cash.

Based in Broomfield, Dan’s Front Range Notary serves the northern Denver metro area and nearby Front Range communities. Extended travel may be available by individual quote for locations farther north or south along the Front Range.
Longer-distance appointments, including Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, may be available by individual quote. These are extended-travel requests rather than standard service-area appointments.
Process
How It Works
Call, Text, or Request Online
Provide the preferred date and time, meeting ZIP code or address, number of signers, approximate number of documents, and any facility or witness details.
Receive an Itemized Quote
Dan confirms availability and provides the expected notarial, travel, and scheduling charges. The appointment is not confirmed until Dan accepts it.
Secure the Appointment
A valid credit or debit card may be required through Square for no-show protection. The card is not automatically charged for the full appointment unless prepayment is chosen.
Meet and Complete the Notarization
Dan verifies identity, communicates directly with each signer, confirms willingness and awareness, completes the required certificate, applies the official stamp, and records the act in the notary journal.
Pay and Receive a Receipt
Pay by major credit/debit card through Square or cash and receive a written, itemized receipt.
Before We Meet
Prepare for Your Appointment
- Bring the complete document. Do not leave material blanks in the document.
- Unless the document requires only an acknowledgment of a prior signature, wait to sign until Dan tells you it is appropriate to do so.
- Bring a current government-issued photo ID. Contact Dan in advance if the ID is expired, unusual, unavailable, or issued by a correctional or foreign authority.
- Every required signer must be physically present for an in-person notarization.
- The customer is responsible for arranging any required witnesses. Witnesses must be present, willing, and able to sign at the appointment, and may need acceptable identification.
- Confirm with the receiving agency, attorney, title company, court, lender, or document preparer which notarial act and certificate are required.
- For hospitals, senior communities, rehabilitation centers, or correctional facilities, verify visiting rules, access procedures, parking, and the signer’s availability before the appointment.
